Product Spotlight

Our good friend Guido in France and his friend have formed an exciting new company which will be making fiberglass and carbon fiber parts for our beloved MK2. This new company is called G2-Works.
I’m sure you are all aware but they made Fiberglass Sunroof panels earlier in the year. As you all know the logistics of producing a product in France and shipping it to North America can be quiet complicated and expensive…so I have agreed to take the first shipment to help sell these products for G2-Works.
Please note that pricing is a little bit more than Guido indicated in post; Duties and Brokerage fees are unavoidable when parts are shipped from overseas. The pricing below reflects duties and brokerage so whether you’re from Canada or the USA you will not be surprised my any brokerage fees.
I have had products from all over the world (including Europe) shipped to both Canada and the US and so far Australia is the only Country that has no duties for both Canada and the USA. Please keep that in mind when looking at the pricing: duties and brokerage have already been paid for.
In order to ensure the package arrives intact we are using a fair sized box, which obviously makes shipping expensive to the USA. I had a tough time deciding where to ship the parts(Canada or USA), in the end I chose Canada as I have all the shipping supplies (boxes/bubblewrap and peanuts) already here. If I shipped them to the USA I’d have to order a shipment of packing supplies there which would have increased the price anyway.
The good news however is the shipping price is the same whether I put 1 or 3 roofs in a box so if you know someone else in your area you can all split the shipping. Even if 2 people are in 1 area and 1 in another; 3 people can share the shipping to the USA and then the box can be resealed and shipped to the 3rd…shipping from US to US location is fairly inexpensive. Adding a 4th roof in a box increases the price only marginally.
In the end please note that these are made with Love by someone who loves these cars and this community. They are made in very small quantities in their spare time; G2-Works is not a huge company with the ability to get 50 of these out to cut cost. These are the only fiberglass sunroof panels out there and can virtually promise you that Guido and I are just making enough to justify the time we are putting in the product.
That being said here is the pricing:
MK2 Fiberglass Sunroof: $305USD
Average Cost to Ship in Canada: $45USD for 1- 3 Sunroof Panels.

Average Cost to Ship to USA: $75USD for 1-3 Sunroof Panels.
EMAIL us @: [1] sales@raptorracing.com with yourZip Code for a quote.
Average Cost to Ship within the USA: $30 (this is an FYI for those considering splitting shipping)
It goes without saying but average means shipping to you may be more or less than what is above.
Below are the pictures; I’m sorry for the “average” quality. I promise to get better pictures up later. It’s tons of work to get the studio lighting up to get proper product pictures; its just not possible with my current schedule.
If you have any questions regarding obtaining the product let me know; any technical questions about the product will be answered by Guido.
